Office Manager
Bethany Nadeau is a dedicated professional who joined Borden Cottage after working for three years as a Case Manager at Spectrum Generations, where she provided support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Drawn to the mission and the warm, supportive environment at Borden Cottage during her interview, Bethany knew it was the right place for her to continue her journey in helping others. Now, she feels not only a strong connection to the program but also a deep sense of belonging among her co-workers, who have become like family.
A conditional licensed social worker, CRMA (Certified Residential Medication Aide), and PSS (Personal Support Specialist), Bethany brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her role. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maine at Farmington, where she double majored in Psychology and Aging Studies. In addition to her work at Borden Cottage, she serves as a visitor for the Knox County Probate Court, demonstrating her commitment to supporting her community in various capacities.
While her current role is non-clinical, Bethany finds her social work skills invaluable in understanding the unique needs of the residents Borden Cottage serves. She is passionate about furthering her education and plans to pursue a master’s degree in social work to deepen her impact in the field.
Outside of work, Bethany enjoys spending time crafting and hiking, embracing creativity and nature as ways to unwind and recharge.
