Christina is the Director of Quality Assurance and Clinical Compliance. She collaborates with clinical leads to develop and implement organization practices that align with the most current research in the field and the highest standards of accreditation. Christina began working at Borden Cottage in 2021 as the Lead Recovery Advocate helping the team of RA’s provide highly individualized care. “I love being part of the team at Borden Cottage because of our shared strength and ability to instill hope with our residents”.

Christina graduated from Colby College with a degree in Anthropology. It is her interest in cultures and how individuals make meaning of their experiences that drew her to the mental health field. While working as a CRC at McLean’s Hill Center for Women, a DBT program for women with complex trauma, Christina become passionate about supporting individuals and families on their path to healing and recovery.

Her experience includes working with children and adolescents in the Community Based Acute Treatment program at Franciscan Hospital, and Pediatric Anxiety Research Center at Bradley Hospital where she helped implement exposure with response prevention for the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety disorders.

When not at Borden Cottage, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her pup. Being new to Midcoast Maine, she is looking forward to deepening her involvement in community organizations and activities.
